How to make foam at lower temperatures for the treatment of varicose veins
Injection of foam at lower temperatures to treat varicose veins makes it more stable.
This stability allows for better results, particularly in terms of maintaining the occlusion of the vein treated, as was evidenced in some studies.
In most cases, cooling the foam is made by placing all foam material (ampoules, syringes, and three way taps) in a freezer
However, simply removing it from the freezer and making the foam, (Tessari method) increases its temperature.
In this work, the author presents some forms of making foam at low temperatures.
He uses a cryotherapy system and an ethyl chloride spray which, in his opinion, improves the results.
